This educational course covers the Veteran’s Administration: Understanding PTSD and Treatment. This course will cover best practices and considerations for individuals who provide services for people diagnosed with PTSD and those who have been diagnosed with PTSD. This education covers the treatment planning skill of the Eight Counselor Skill Groups ascribed by NAADAC and NCC AP.

Learning ObjectivesUpon completion of this education course, the participant will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of PTSD;
  2. Identify common treatment for PTSD;
  3. Describe how to get help for ptsd.
