This educational course covers the CDC Technical Package: Stop SV. There is a relationship between sexual violence and substance abuse. This training covers prevention strategies to reduce the prevalence of sexual violence perpetrating. This education covers the Counseling Services and Case management skills of the Eight Counselor Skill Groups ascribed by NAADAC and NCC AP.

Learning ObjectivesUpon completion of this education course, the participant will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of prevention strategies to prevent sexual violence;
  2. Assess the most effective approaches to treatment;
  3. Identify social norms that protect against sexual violence.
